November has been busy! Celia and Madsen had their first choir concert combined with other local elementary, junior highs, and high schools. This cranky kid kept me out in the hallway though...
I got to attend Time Out for Women with my mother- and sister-in-laws again. It's always a terrific conference filled with inspiring speakers and great music!
We've had some absolutely gorgeous, dry days to enjoy the leaves around us! Thank heavens we have at least ONE lovely tree in our yard. We can manage to rake up one small, sorry pile to jump in! ;)
Having fun with cousins' chickens:
Celia playing violin in a Veteran's Day assembly:
FINALLY! Her first lost tooth! Oh she's been waiting and WAITING for this, so sad that all her friends have lost multiple teeth and she hadn't. She even lost it at school, which means they get a cool tooth necklace to keep it in. :)
The tiger outfit is still going strong, even after Halloween...
...in the car...
...and early in the morning.
At least it keeps him warm, since he refuses to wear any kind of coat or jacket.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Richardsons, and these kiddos were so cute. They shook off those pieces of pie with this homemade marble game - so funny!
Cora's class had a "feast" and she loved this paper pilgrim bonnet she made.
And Madsen filled up our "Thankful Tree"...literally. The girls got to fill out one leaf with things they were grateful for, and usually we make the leaves last the whole month of November, adding them one by one as we think of things to be thankful for. Well Madsen took one night and filled them ALL up! The girls were upset, but there are worse problems to have, I guess. :) I'm grateful for this very thankful boy!
We saw and loved Moana over Thanksgiving break. We're ready to go live on an island right NOW! It reminded us of our wonderfully warm and beautiful Polynesian friends. We think their culture is just beautiful.
Happy Thanksgiving!
