During January, we had our share of snow and sunshine. Swimming lessons and a 10 yr old getting contacts (life-changing!). Hikes outside and Silly Hair Day at school...you'll see. ;)
"It's too bright! The sun is looking at me, mom!" Haha...
And snow!! The day before we were to return to school from Christmas Vacation, no less. So we got a snow day and a two hour delay from it, at least. We loved it! :)
It melted quickly...as it usually does once it begins to rain again. It was fun while it lasted!
Crazy Hair Day = mullet wig! We couldn't stop laughing at this kid...
A cousin came to join us at swimming lessons one day...
...and Celia could actually SEE what she was doing in the pool because her new contacts! Thanks Uncle Brett! She absolutely loves the new freedom of having contacts. I remember that change myself and how amazing it was! I could see so much more.
And this is just because she actually LET ME do her hair.
Never happens, folks. Why why why?? :( I love braiding and twisting... (Sigh)
Bowen was acting "cool" in the store the other day and it just had to be documented.
He turned his hat and said, "Ka-CHOW" over and over and over...
because he's obsessed with Lightning McQueen,
who is the epitome of coolness in the toddler world, I guess. Haha!
He also enjoys trips to IKEA...
because he loves blue...
...and tasty, cheap ice cream.
A dry day for a hike! This is on some nearby property we may or may not purchase...
January also held endless library trips, of course (below)...
...and fun with a friend's pet bird. These kids were too cute with it. :)
On to February!
