Late Summer

Happy September!

The summer's not over yet (and to prove it, we've got a week of 80 and 90 degree days ahead of us, supposedly...). We've had some late summer fun and surprises lately - like our strawberries, still unexpectedly going strong!

Most lovely summer evenings end up like last night - cooking out, wrestling, playing ball, finding bugs, puttering in the garden, and just enjoying our last nice evenings before the rain begins...

I can't believe the kiddos will be starting school this week. They're excited (and I am too!) that school's finally here, but little sis won't know what hit her... Big sis starts Wednesday and little brother "officially" starts next Monday, after a short evaluation day this week. New backpacks and clothes are all set out and ready. :)
